"You have to take a step back and look at what is going on in traditional sport in general. Before the crisis, the global average of audiences for live sport was down by around 15%. Before the lockdowns, 300 million people watched Netflix at least one hour a day. 100 million teens spend more than 70 hours a week on Twitch. We spend two hours a day on social media. Our available leisure time no longer automatically goes to live sport, and the transmission between generations of the passion for sport is no longer as evident as it used to be.
