Covid-19: FIGC document defines guidelines for the organisation of matches behind closed doors

"General guidelines for the planning, organisation and management of professional football matches behind closed doors aimed at containing the Covid-19 epidemic" is the title of the 39-page document (available to download) produced by the FIGC and published on 01/06/2020.

The 2019-20 Serie A TIM season will restart on Saturday 20/06/2020: the decision was announced by Vincenzo Spadafora, Italian Minister for Sport, following a meeting with football leaders (FIGC, Leagues, player, coach and referee representatives), then a meeting with the Prime Minister of Italy Giuseppe Conte on 28/05/2020.

The first four scheduled matches are postponed games from Matchday 25:
• On Saturday 20/06/2020, Torino FC - Parma Calcio 1913 (kick-off at 19:30 CET), then Hellas Verona FC - Cagliari Calcio (21:45).
• Sunday 21/06/2020: Atalanta BC - Unione Sportiva Sassuolo Calcio (kick-off at 19:30), then FC Internazionale Milano - Unione Calcio Sampdoria (21:45).
Matchday 27 will then be spread from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24/06/2020 (see programme below).
