Real Madrid CF: 25% refund for 2019-20 season ticket holders or a reduced 2020-21 season ticket

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is offering its season ticket holders a 25% refund on their 2019-20 season tickets to compensate them for the fact that the last six matches of the Spanish championship season will be played behind closed doors at the Santiago Bernabéu (80,000 capacity) due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, according to the club on 02/06/2020.

Real Madrid is also offering its season-ticket holders two other options: to convert the amount owed by the club into a reduction of a similar amount on their 2020-21 season ticket, or to waive all refunds "to help the club mitigate the effects of the pandemic by joining the collective effort of the players, staff, managers and employees of the club who have waived part of their salary."

"We would also like to announce that the subscription payment for the 2020-21 season will not be debited, as is usually the case, on 30/06/2020, as we do not currently know the circumstances in which next season will take place," added Real Madrid.
