UK: Sky and BT Sport subscriptions charges resume for the Premier League restart

Sky will resume charging for its Sky Sports offer on 19/06/2020, two days after the resumption of the 2019-20 Premier League, according to the British pay-TV operator, on 02/06/2020. Subscribers in the UK and Ireland have been able to pause their subscriptions since 20/03/2020.

Its competitor BT Sport has announced that a 50% discount will be applied to June 2020 subscription charges. BT Sport did not charge for subscriptions during April and May 2020, despite the return of the Bundesliga to its channels on 16/05/2020.

Sky Sports and BT Sport are currently marketed at £23 (€26) and £25 (€28) per month for 18 months for new subscribers respectively.
