KPMG: Real Madrid - the most valuable football club in 2020 (€3.48bn), ahead of Man United and Barça

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the most valuable football club, with an estimated value of €3.478bn (+8% in one year), according to KPMG Football Benchmark, the football-dedicated business intelligence platform of the international network of audit and consulting firms, which published "The European Elite 2020 Football Clubs' Valuation", a ranking of the "32 most prominent European football clubs" according to their financial value, on 28/05/2020.

Real Madrid beat Manchester United FC (Premier League, €3.342bn, +4%) and FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, €3.193bn, +19%), who overtook FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga, €2.878bn, +8%) on the podium, having finished below them in 2019. Since the first edition of the report in 2016, Real Madrid and Manchester United have consistently occupied the top two places in the KPMG Football Benchmark.

Among the 32 clubs surveyed, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) experienced the second best increase in value between 2019 and 2020 (€1.911bn, +45%), taking the Parisian club from 11^th to 9^th place. The Serie A TIM is the only European Top 5…
