Bologna FC: agreement with Italian group Fincantieri for renovation of the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara

Bologna Stadio, a company set up by Bologna FC 1909 (Serie A TIM), has signed an agreement with Fincantieri Infrastructure, a subsidiary of the Italian construction group Fincantieri, which has been entrusted with the design and construction of the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara (29,500 capacity) as part of its renovation, according to the Bologna club (Emilia-Romagna, ITA) on 04/06/2020.

"At a time in which football, as other industrial sectors in Italy, requires investments and strategies to make a new start, this cooperation represents an important initiative to deliver the club and the city of Bologna a modern and functional infrastructure to meet the current needs of the audience and the business partners," said the Italian club.

Bologna FC presented a project to renovate the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on 24/07/2018. The estimated cost of the work, which will notably provide the stadium with a roof, is €100m. Work is scheduled to start at the end of 2021/beginning of 2022.
