Real Madrid (Liga BBVA) are sure to bring in €53.8m thanks to their qualification for the final of the 2013-14 edition of the Champions League, beating out FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) in the semifinals (1-0, on 04/23/2014 in Madrid, then 4-0 in Bavaria on 29/04/2014).

Following the semi-finals, played from 22 to 30/04/2014, News Tank updated its revenue table of what participating clubs are guaranteed to receive from UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), the competition organiser.

In case of victory in the final against Atlético Madrid on 24/05/2014 at Luz Stadium in Lisbon (POR), Real would win this competition for the tenth time (six Champions Cups and three Champions League titles to date, the last in 2002 against Bayer Leverkusen) and get €4m more (the winner of the Champions League takes €10.5m, while the defeated finalist pockets €6.5m). With €57.8m, Real would then top 2013-14 Champions League income ahead of Paris Saint-Germain (€55.1m), which have been in first since 27/11/2013, the fifth matchday of the group stage.

Real Madrid will however only finish third…
