Transfers: "Opening of the market between French clubs on Monday 08/06/2020" (LFP)

"The board of directors of the LFP has decided to open, on Monday 08/06/2020, the transfer period between French clubs," announced the French League on 05/06/2020.

"A forthcoming board of directors meeting will fix the opening of the international period and the final closing of the market in the light of FIFA's decisions and the discussions in progress with the other European leagues," specified the LFP.

"We are thinking of starting a French transfer window of a few days at the beginning of June in order to allow French clubs that have a few purchases and sales of players to make, compared to their resumption of training on 20/06 or 01/07/2020," said Bernard Caïazzo, president of the Premiere Ligue union of French clubs and chairman of the board of AS Saint-Etienne, on 01/06/2020 (see below).
