BT Sport: launch of a "Watch together" feature for the resumption of the Premier League

BT Sport will launch a feature on its application for the Premier League resumption (behind closed doors) on 17/06/2020 that will allow subscribers to watch and chat with friends in split-screen mode during matches, according to the UK pay-TV bouquet on 05/06/2020.

Eleven Sports was the first sports audiovisual group to offer this type of service, on 29/11/2018.

BT Sport and rival Sky have also announced that they will offer a prerecorded stadium atmosphere for Premier League matches to their subscribers, similar to what is being done in the Bundesliga (since 16/05/2020) and LaLiga Santander (from 11/06/2020).

2019-20 Premier League: 33 of the 92 remaining matches will be broadcast free-to-air
