eSports: Kappa, equipment supplier of the Spanish organisation MAD Lions (LEC) from 2020

Kappa is reinforcing its presence in eSports and has become the official equipment supplier of MAD Lions from 2020, according the Spanish organisation whose League of Legends (LoL, Riot Games) team plays in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), on 09/06/2020. This partnership covers all MAD Lions teams that compete in European competitions for the LEC, Superliga Orange (LoL) and Flashpoint (CS: GO, Valve).

"The deal, effective immediately, will also see Kappa develop lifestyle and streetwear fan merchandise, general accessories, and will take over all MAD Lions e-commerce activities - including orders, inventory and customer service. The two brands will also work together on content, marketing and advertising initiatives," explained the organisation owned by OverActive Media (eSports & entertainment).

This is Kappa's fifth eSports partnership, after becoming the official equipment supplier for Team Oplon (FRA, ex-InFamouS, 26/02/2018), Vexed Gaming (GBR) for its CS:GO team (07/09/2019) and Diaboulos (GBR) for three years (2020-2023) on 16/04/2020. The Italian brand is…
