eSports: 8 City Football Group clubs to take part in a global FIFA (EA Sports) event on 13/06/2020

City Football Group (CFG) will launch the CFG FIFA Challenge on 13/06/2020, "a unique, group-wide EA Sports FIFA20 (video game) challenge," announced the investment holding company for football assets (professional clubs, infrastructure, innovation) on 11/06/2020. "Fans will be able to watch all the action (see details below) as it unfolds, with every game streamed on Twitch from 10:00 BST (11:00 CET)."

"With on-the-pitch action limited due to the Covid-19 pandemic, eight CFG clubs - Manchester City FC (Premier League), New York City FC (MLS), Melbourne City FC (Hyundai A-League), Yokohama F. Marinos (J.League), Girona FC (LaLiga SmartBank), Montevideo City Torque (URU, Primera Division), Sichuan Jiuniu FC (China League Two, Chinese third division) and Mumbai City FC (ISL) - will compete in a series of matches and gaming challenges throughout the challenge," said the group which acquired Lommel SK (Proximus League), its ninth club, on 11/05/2020.
