UEFA: 2019-20 and 2020-21 European Cups on the Executive Committee agenda on Wednesday 17/06/2020

"2019-20 UEFA Champions League and Europa League - Round of 16 onwards and related determinations" and "2020-21 Champions League and Europa League - qualifying phase, play-offs and group stage" are the first two items on the agenda of the UEFA Executive Committee meeting scheduled via videoconference and in two parts on Wednesday 17/06/2020, from 12:00 to 15:00 CET, and Thursday 18/06/2020, from 09:00 to 11.00 CET.

UEFA set up two working groups on 17/03/2020 and various calendars covering both national team and club competition matches have since been presented. No revised schedule has yet been communicated, according to the European body on 11/06/2020.

A "Final 8" could be held in Lisbon (POR) to end the 2019-20 Champions League with the final on Sunday 23/08/2020, according to Spanish sports daily AS. The seven matches (four quarterfinals and two semi-finals with no second legs and the final) would be played behind closed doors at the Stade de la Luz, home of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, and at the Estádio José Alvalade, home of Sporting Clube de Portugal, from 12/08/2020.
