2019-20 Bundesliga (Matchday 31): best cumulative audience of the season on Sky's pay TV channels

Eight of the nine games on Matchday 31 of the 2019-20 Bundesliga season, held behind closed doors from 12 to 14/06/2020, drew a cumulative average audience of 4.8 million viewers on the channels of the pay-TV group Sky Deutschland, according to data from the German audience measurement institutes AGF and GfK.

This is the best cumulative audience on Sky Deutschland's pay-TV channels since the start of the 2019-20 season, just ahead of the previous matchday (4.67 million). More viewers had watched Matchdays 26 and 27 on Sky (6.2 million and 5.4 million respectively, the first two matchdays after the resumption of the German championship after the lockdown) thanks to the broadcasting of a multiplex on the free sports news channel Sky Sport News.

The audience of the matches broadcast on the OTT platforms DAZN and Prime Video (Amazon) are not communicated. DAZN and Amazon have signed broadcasting agreements with the DFL for the end of the 2019-20 season (see related articles).
