2019-20 Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich crowned German champions for the eighth consecutive time

FC Bayern Munich have been crowned 2019-20 German champions after a 1-0 victory over Sport Verein Werder Bremen at the wohninvest Weserstadion (42,100 capacity) on Matchday 32 of the Bundesliga on Tuesday 16/06/2020. The Bavarian club has 76 points with two games to go, 10 more than Borussia Dortmund (2^nd with 66 points and one match less) who can't catch up.

Bayern have now won their eighth consecutive Bundesliga title. The last time another club won the German championship was during the 2011-12 season, Borussia Dortmund, who also won in 2010-11.

With 30 German league titles to their name, FC Bayern Munich have consolidated their position as the most successful club in Germany. 1. Fußball Club Nürnberg (9 titles) and Borussia Dortmund (8 titles) complete the podium.
