With €610.6m in turnover in 2018-19, Manchester City FC was ranked sixth in the Deloitte Football Money League 2020, while Arsenal FC with €445.6m in turnover was ranked eleventh, as the two clubs prepare to face each other on Matchday 28 of the 2019-20 Premier League season at the Etihad Stadium (Manchester, ENG) on Wednesday 17/06/2020, kick-off at 20:15 BST (21:15 CET).

According to the 2020 edition of the Deloitte Football Money League, the Manchester club's audiovisual (€287.2m) and commercial (€261m) revenues were significantly higher than those posted by Arsenal (€210.6m and €125.8m respectively) in 2018-19, in contrast to matchday revenues, which were higher for the London club (€109.2m, compared to €62.4m for Manchester City).

With nearly 72 million fans on social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as of 01/06/2020), the reigning English champions have slightly more than their opponents, who total 71.2 million.
