Manchester United FC: a mosaic with the photos of thousands of fans in the stands at Old Trafford

Manchester United FC (Premier League) are offering their fans the chance to appear in a mosaic that will be deployed in the form of a tifo in the stands at Old Trafford (74,879 capacity) during their next matches played behind closed doors at the stadium, according to the club on 11/06/2020. All of the remaining 2019-20 Premier League matches will be played without spectators in the stands.

The operation is open to all Manchester United supporters worldwide. To be one of the faces on the mosaic, simply submit your photo via the official club application. More than 40,000 fans have already done so, as of 16/06/2020.

"We'll use the images to create a mosaic of our fans from across the globe to inspire the players during our home matches until real crowds return. The image will then be stored at our museum, to remember this unprecedented time when football had to temporarily be without the fans that make it so special," said Manchester United.
