Euro 2020: UEFA confirm 12 host cities and approve match schedule (from 11/06 to 11/07/2021)

"The 12 original host cities (see list below) have been confirmed as venues for the final tournament in the summer of 2021 and consequently the updated match schedule was also approved (document available to download)," announced UEFA following an executive committee meeting via videoconference on 17/06/2020.

The opening match on Friday 11/06/2021 (in Rome, ITA) and final on Sunday 11/07/2021 (in London, ENG) are the new dates for the next Euro, initially scheduled from 12/06 to 12/07/2020, according to an announcement by UEFA, during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, on 17/03/2020.

"All existing tickets remain valid for the tournament in 2021 (which retains the name Euro 2020). Existing ticket buyers who nevertheless wish to return their ticket(s), will have a final opportunity to request a refund from 18/06 to 25/06/2020 via euro2020.com/tickets," explained the European body.
