Covid-19: City Football Group and its 9 clubs launch a year-long campaign to raise funds

City Football Group (CFG), a holding company for investment in football assets (professional clubs, infrastructure, innovation), has launched "Cityzens Giving For Recovery", a year-long campaign with the aim of raising "a minimum of £1m (€1.11m)" to support various operations in the wake of the crisis linked to the Coronavirus (Covid-19), announced Manchester City FC (Premier League) on 16/06/2020.

"The recovery projects will focus on various themes including mental and physical health, education for vulnerable young people and tackling loneliness and isolation amongst other initiatives. CFG will look to help facilitate the efforts through its clubs, staff, players, coaches and fans," said City Football Group.

City Football Group's nine clubs - Manchester City FC, New York City FC (MLS), Melbourne City FC (Hyundai A-League), Sichuan Jiuniu FC (China League Two, China's third division), Mumbai City FC (ISL) and Lommel SK (Proximus League), as the majority shareholder, and Yokohama F.
