Valencia CF: a mural made from photos of Covid-19 victims at the Estadio Mestalla

Valencia CF (LaLigaSantander) will display a mural in memory of those who died during the Covid-19 crisis, within the Estadio Mestalla (55,000 capacity), announced the Spanish club on 12/06/2020.

The mural will consist of photos that families of the victims can send to the club via an online form. "To date, there have been about 1,500 deaths in the Valencia community, according to data from the Ministry of Health," said the club.

"The Covid-19 pandemic has dealt a severe blow to society worldwide and will continue to do so, marking a before and after for all. Valencia CF, as an ambassador for the local community, wants to honour all the people from the region who died, as they deserve, and wishes to do so through this mural in their memory, which will be placed in an iconic spot at the Mestalla," added the club.
