Sale of AS Roma: "Last offer from the Friedkin Group wasn't close to being acceptable" (J. Pallotta)

"The last semi-concrete offer we received (from the Friedkin Group, a US holding company whose companies operate in the automotive, tourism and entertainment sectors, among others) - some of the details of which seem to have been leaked by either their lawyers or bankers - just wasn't close to being acceptable," said James Pallotta, president of AS Roma (Serie A TIM), on 15/06/2020.

"AS Roma SPV LLC, the company which indirectly holds the controlling ownership of AS Roma S.p.A through Neep Roma Holding S.p.A, hereby informs the Market that AS Roma SPV LLC and The Friedkin Group are in negotiations related to a potential transaction involving Neep Roma Holding S.p.A and its subsidiaries - including AS Roma SpA (herein after the 'AS Roma Group')," announced the Roman club on 29/12/2019.
