Bologna FC: final Stadio Renato Dall'Ara renovation project submitted to the City Council

"In full compliance with all of the conditions and deadlines outlined, today, Bologna FC 1909 (Serie A TIM) presented their formal proposal to the City Council of Bologna (Emilia-Romagna, ITA) to renovate and modernise the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara (29,500 capacity), with the proposal accompanied by an economic-financial plan," announced the resident club of the stadium and the City which owns it, in a joint press release on 24/06/2020.

"The project's hand-in will now allow the committee led by Mayor Virginio Merola to proceed with the process of approving the declaration of public interest. Once the declaration has been approved by the committee, the City Council will then have a maximum of 90 days to assess the technical-economic aspects of the project," added the club and the community.

"The submitted project proposal gives Bologna FC the surface rights to the stadium for the next 40 years. As expected, the proposal also outlines a contribution of €40m from the administration in support of the project's completion," explained the Italian club.
