AS Roma: Qatar Airways, main shirt sponsor of the women's team and extends with the men's team

Qatar Airways, a Qatari airline company, has extended its partnership with AS Roma and become the main shirt sponsor of the senior women's team (Calcio Femminile Italiano, women's first division) until the end of the 2020-21 season, announced the club on 25/06/2020. The team did not have a shirt sponsor in 2019-20.

Qatar Airways, a major partner of AS Roma (first level), is also the main shirt sponsor of the club's senior men's team (Serie A TIM) for the 2018-2021 cycle, for an estimated €11m per season. Qatar Airways is also a partner of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and CONMEBOL.

"The agreement signifies the expansion of the relationship between the two organisations - and underlines the commitment of both to the growth, development and sustainability of women's football," said AS Roma, whose women's team was founded in 2018.

The FIGC definitively ended the 2019-20 season of the Calcio Femminile Italiano on 08/06/2020. Juventus FC Women were crowned 2019-20 champions by the Italian body on 26/06/2020.
