Ligue 1: adidas succeeds Nike as equipment supplier of Stade Brestois from 2020-21

adidas will once again become the official equipment supplier of Stade Brestois 29 (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) from 2020-21 as part of a multi-year agreement, according to the French club which celebrated its 70^th anniversary on 26/06/2020. The German brand succeeds Nike, equipment supplier of Stade Brestois for 10 seasons (2010-2020).

adidas was previously the Breton club's equipment supplier for the 1977-1986 and 1992-1996 cycles. Under the new agreement, Kermasport, a sports shop based in Brest (Finistère, FRA), becomes a supplier of the club and will distribute its adidas kits.

adidas, are also expected to join FC Girondins de Bordeaux from 2020-21, and could therefore, have four Ligue 1 clubs under contract in 2020-21 (with Olympique Lyonnais and RC Strasbourg Alsace).

Nike also did not extend their contract with FC Metz (Ligue 1), who have switched to Kappa for 2020-2023. Only Paris Saint-Germain, who have extended their contract with Nike until the end of the 2031-32 season (between €70-90m/season), and Montpellier Hérault Sport Club (2001-2026) will therefore be under contract with…
