Bayer 04 Leverkusen: 2020-21 shirt sold 5 days before its official unveiling

Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) and its equipment supplier Jako have put the club's 2020-21 home shirt on sale before unveiling it, on 22/06/2020.

Fans of the German club had five days to buy the mystery shirt before it was officially unveiled on 27/06/2020. During this period, the price of the shirt was reduced by 20% (€64 instead of €79) compared to its normal retail price.

The reduction applied to the first 1,000 shirts ordered, a sales figure reached in just three days, with Bayer 04 Leverkusen indicating on 25/06/2020 that the offer was fully sold out.
