Parma Calcio: players to wear Erreà antibacterial, water-repellent shirts until the end of 2019-20

Parma Calcio 1913 (Serie A TIM) players will wear antibacterial and water-repellent shirts, developed by Erreà (the club's equipment supplier), for the remaining matches in the 2019-20 season, announced the Italian club on 25/06/2020.

"The product of years of experience from Erreà in nanotechnology, a focus for the company since 2008 and something perfected during the Covid-19 crisis, their new Ti-energy fabric is remarkably advanced in its qualities and function, thanks to two bits of specialised technology which keep zinc oxide nanoparticles permanently incapsulated in the shirt fibres, helping to give the kits an antibacterial trait, as well as treatment with Minusnine J1+ to make the fabric completely water-repellent," explained Parma Calcio 1913.

The new shirt - which was worn for the first time during the club's home game versus FC Internazionale Milano (Matchday 28 of the Serie A TIM, 1-2, 28/06/2020) - has exactly the same design as the home shirt worn by the Parma players since the start of the 2019-20 season.
