Mediapro: Amaury Media (L'Équipe), advertising agency for the future Téléfoot channel

The Chinese-Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro has chosen Amaury Media as the advertising agency for its future French channel Téléfoot, announced the two entities on 29/06/2020. Amaury Media is the advertising network that markets the Amaury group's media, including the L'Équipe brand (newspaper, magazines, website, channel).

Mediapro was also in discussions with the free-TV group TF1 for the choice of its advertising department. The two groups entered into a partnership, on 02/06/2020, that is based "on three fundamental pillars: a brand license (Téléfoot), an editorial and production partnership and a talent partnership."

The launch date of the channel, which will exclusively broadcast 80% of Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT matches over the 2020-2024 cycle, has not yet been formalised and no distribution agreement has been announced by the group (as of 29/06/2020).
