The Qatari pay-TV group beIN Sports resumed broadcasting the 2019-20 Serie A TIM, on 26/06/2020, in the 35 countries where it is the broadcaster of the Italian championship (see list below), six days after starting a TV blackout against the Lega Serie A. beIN Media Group recovered a sum of money from the Italian League, without disclosing the amount.

"The agreement reached regarding Serie A sets a major precedent, reinforcing what beIN and other international broadcasters have been saying for years: if rights-holders don’t tackle piracy, they’ll only receive non-exclusive fees," a beIN Media Group spokesperson told News Tank Football on 29/06/2020.

"BeIN is actively reconsidering its entire commercial relationship with Serie A following the league's decision to go ahead with its Super Cup (Supercoppa Italiana) match next month in Saudi Arabia, the country responsible for the mass theft of the league's premium sports rights for over two years," said a spokesperson for the Qatari pay-TV group to the US media outlet Bloomberg on 26/11/2019.
