Borussia Mönchengladbach: Flatex (broker) succeeds Postbank as main shirt sponsor (2020-2023)

Flatex, a German broker based in Frankfurt, has become a main partner (first level) and main shirt sponsor of Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga) for three seasons (2020-2023), announced the club during the presentation of its new 2020-21 home shirt (Puma) on 29/06/2020.

Flatex succeeds Postbank, the club's main shirt sponsor for 11 seasons (2009-2020, between €5-7m/season), which had informed Borussia Mönchengladbach that it did not wish to extend its partnership beyond 2019-20 on 08/08/2019.

"After Postbank confirmed their departure following eleven years as our main sponsor, we held a lot of talks with potential new partners for our largest sponsorship package and entered the final discussions in recent weeks. We were most convinced by flatex, ultimately because of their vision and strategy. We signed the contracts late last week and are now looking forward to a fruitful partnership for both parties," said Guido Uhle, director of sponsorship at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
