Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) opened a temporary store in Berlin on 06/05/2014, as the 2014 German Cup final approaches.

The 67 m2 shop is located close to Potsdamer Platz in central Berlin. The pop-up store will offer various products to fans and tourists until the end of May 2014. BVB launched this initiative because they will play twice in Berlin in the space of eight days at the Olympic Stadium: against Hertha Berlin on 10/05/2014 for the last matchday of the 2013-14 championship, and then against Bayern Munich in the German Cup final on 17/05/2014.

Borussia Dortmund's merchandising revenue was €15.4m for the first quarter of the 2013-14 season (from 01/07 to 30/09/2013), an increase of 31.6% compared to the first quarter 2012-13.

This sector provided 25.9% of the club's revenues in the first quarter of 2013-14.
