Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Hugues Ouvrard appointed deputy managing director of Olympique de Marseille

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has appointed Hugues Ouvrard as deputy managing director, announced the French club on 02/07/2020.

A former employee of the Canal+ group, SFR and Electronic Arts, Hugues Ouvrard has held the position of chief executive officer at Xbox France (Microsoft) since August 2013. Jacques-Henri Eyraud, president of Olympique de Marseille, announced in an article published on the professional social network LinkedIn on 23/05/2020, the creation of a "Head of Business" position (in addition to a "Head of Football", whose recruitment is still underway) in order to "supervise all the operational and functional aspects of the club, outside of football."

"The arrival of Hugues as deputy managing director coincides with the start of the club's second development phase. After having built new foundations around high sporting ambitions, first-rate infrastructure and redeployed training, Olympique de Marseille must now continue to grow based on a sustainable economic model," added OM.
