LaLiga Santander: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (July 2020)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2019-20 LaLiga Santander season have more than 512 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/07/2019. This total makes LaLiga Santander the second most popular European Top 5 league on all three social networks, behind the Premier League, with an average of 25.6 million fans per club.

Real Madrid CF is the most popular Spanish club with over 234 million fans, while FC Barcelona, second, with a total of 223 million, are ahead of Club Atlético de Madrid in third place with 28 million.

RCD Mallorca was the club which experienced the best percentage growth on Instagram (+12.4%), Club Deportivo Leganés on Facebook (+2%) and Getafe CF on Twitter (+0.9%), during the month of June 2020.

On Instagram, Real Madrid posted the best growth in absolute value among the clubs of the European Top 5 in June 2020 (+827,064 followers), ahead of FC Barcelona (+816,412 followers) and Juventus FC (Serie A TIM, +624,416).
