UEFA: Champions League Gallery and Museum open in Lisbon, 06 to 25/05/2014

The Champions Gallery and Champions Museum are opening in Lisbon (Portugal), from 06 to 25/05/2014, UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) announced on 06/05/2014. The Portuguese capital will host the 2014 competition's final at Luz stadium (65,647 capacity), between Atlético Madrid (ESP) and Real Madrid (ESP) on 24/05/2014.

The Champions Gallery has more than 150 pictures of the competition on display. Many Portuguese players winning the Champions League are highlighted.

The Champions Museum is devoted to memorabilia from the finals, such as: the shoe worn by Lionel Messi (ARG) during the 2009 final (FC Barcelona - Manchester United, 2-0), Eusebio's (POR) shirt from the 1963 final (AC Milan - Benfica Lisbon, 2-1) and the ball from the 2002 final (Real Madrid - Bayer Leverkusen, 2-1).
