Bundesliga: Harfid (real estate) succeeds DHL as sleeve sponsor of FC Schalke 04 from 2020-21

Harfid, a German real estate developer, has extended its partnership with FC Schalke 04 to become its sleeve sponsor for the 2020-21 Bundesliga season, announced the club on 04/07/2020. As part of the agreement, Harfid has extended its partnership with Schalke 04 for an additional four seasons (2021-2025). The agreement is worth €5.5m per season, according to German media.

The property developer now has the status of premium partner, the second level in FC Schalke 04's sponsorship hierarchy. Harfid succeeds Deutsche Post DHL Group (express delivery and logistics), the club's sleeve sponsor in 2019-20 (€5.5m/year). A partner of the club since 2018-19, Harfid had previously extended its partnership with the German club in 2019-20 to become its sleeve sponsor for the DFB-Pokal. Under the new agreement, the German group will remain Schalke's sleeve sponsor in the competition.
