Real Madrid CF: shirts worn by players up for auction for the benefit of the club's Foundation

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) are holding a series of auctions for shirts worn by their players in the six matches played as part of the resumption of the Spanish championship, in partnership with the specialist website MatchWornShirt, announced the club on 01/07/2020.

"The proceeds from these auctions will go towards sustaining the Real Madrid Foundation's socio-sporting projects, which help to mitigate the devastating social effects of the (Covid-19) crisis, in collaboration with the world's leading NGOs and socio-educational organisations," said the Madrid club.

The shirts up for auction are those worn by 16 Real Madrid players in the last six home games of the 2019-20 LaLiga Santander season. Four matches have already been played and two auctions will also be held with the shirts from the matches versus Deportivo Alavés (Matchday 35, 10/07/2020) and Villarreal CF (Matchday 37, date to be confirmed). For each shirt, the auctions will end on MatchWornShirt four days after the end of the match in which it was worn.
