Eintracht Frankfurt: new agreement with the City to occupy and operate the stadium until 2034

Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) and the City of Frankfurt am Main (Hesse, GER) have signed a leasing agreement which extends the use of the Deutsche Bank Park (51,500 capacity) for the next 15 years (2020-2034). The club, which is also entrusted with the operation of the stadium, will be in charge of the stadium for the next 15 years (2020-2034), announced the club on 30/06/2020. The annual rent paid by Eintracht to the city, owner of the stadium, will amount to €8m, according to German media.

"The contract covers what the two parties had already agreed on at the end of last year when they signed a memorandum of understanding. The supervisory board of Sportpark Stadion Frankfurt, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the City of Frankfurt am Main, and the supervisory board of Eintracht Frankfurt have unanimously approved the agreement after several rounds of intensive negotiations between their representatives," said the German club.
