Serie A: The channel Sky Sport to be AS Roma's shirt sponsor for last two matches of 2013-14

The pay TV channel Sky Sport is to be AS Roma's (Serie A) shirt sponsor for the last two matches of the 2013-14 championship, the club announced on 04/05/2014.

Sky Sport, the club's media sponsor, will replace the logo of the club's foundation, "Roma Cares", on the Roman tunic for the face-off with the 2013-14 champion, Juventus (11/05/2014, 37th matchday), and with Genoa (18/05/2014, 38th and last matchday).

"Roma Cares" was on the front of the shirt of AS Roma since the start of the 2013-14 season for lack of a shirt sponsor. The team, managed by Frenchman Rudi Garcia, was the only Serie A team to have no shirt sponsor in 2013-14. The Italian mobile operator Wind was the shirt sponsor until the end of the 2012-13 season.

"We are pleased that one of the largest investors in Italian football, Sky, is celebrating the return of AS Roma to the Champions League (the club is guaranteed to finish 2nd in Serie A), for which the matches will be broadcast exclusively on their platform," said the club's marketing director, Sean Barror.
