FC Internazionale Milano: shareholder Suning renews its sponsorship rights until 2021-22 (press)

The Chinese multinational company Suning, which specialises in the distribution of electronic products and household appliances, has extended its naming rights to FC Internazionale Milano's (Serie A TIM) training centre until 2021-22, according to the Italian daily newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport on 07/07/2020. Suning became the majority shareholder of Inter Milan, after acquiring 68.55% of the club's capital on 06/06/2016.

This global agreement (naming rights + shirt sponsor) concluded on 20/12/2016 and which expired on 30/06/2020 has therefore been extended for two seasons, for an annual amount similar to previous seasons, i.e. €16m per year.

Suning continues to benefit from the status of major partner, the first level in the club's sponsorship hierarchy. Since 2016-17, the "Angelo Moratti Sports Centre", located in the municipality of Appiano Gentile, has been named "The Suning Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti", owner and president of the club from 1955 to 1968.
