Serie A TIM: Konami (video games) loses the official licenses to Inter and AC Milan from 2020-21

Konami, a Japanese video game publisher, has announced that it has lost the official licenses to use the digital assets of FC Internazionale Milano and AC Milan (Serie A TIM) on 07/07/2020. The publisher was a partner of the two Italian clubs following agreements on 08/09 (Inter) and 28/09/2017 (AC Milan). These agreements were not exclusive partnerships for the eFootball PES license (see below).

"The representation of the Club will not be affected in eFootball PES 2020. Inter and AC Milan have been strong advocates for the eFootball PES series we wish the club all the best in the future," said Konami, who in the Serie A TIM is a partner of Juventus FC (exclusive agreement) and Unione Sportiva Sassuolo Calcio.

"Moving forwards, we will continue to strengthen existing partnerships and foster new relationships in order to provide the best possible eFootball experience. Thank you again for your support and understanding," said the video game publisher.
