FIGC: LUM University-Jean Monnet (Bari, ITA) approved to hold a football club management course

The Italian Football Federation has approved the LUM (Libera Università Mediterranea) University - Jean Monnet in Bari (Puglia, ITA) to give the first course in football club management, announced the FIGC on 07/07/2020.

"Thanks to this initiative, the world of football is opening up to university education and thus becoming more and more complete. This collaboration is part of a series of projects that the FIGC is working on in order to better train all those involved in the system," said Gabriele Gravina, president of the FIGC.

"The programme for this training course has been drawn up with qualified teachers, including U21 coach Paolo Nicolato, U21 technical coordinator Maurizio Viscidi, 2006 world champion Massimo Oddo and international referee Gianluca Rocchi, as well as various experts from professional clubs such as Fabio Paratici (Juventus FC), Giovanni Sartori (Atalanta BC) and Igli Tare (Societa Sportiva Lazio)," said the Italian Federation.
