Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund wins the 2019-20 "Pitch of the Year" award

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) have been awarded the "Pitch of the Year" title for the 2019-20 Bundesliga season, according to the DFL on 02/07/2020. The club has thus won the seventh edition of the award established by the German League in 2013-14.

The Signal Iduna Park (81,365 capacity) beat both the Red Bull Arena (RB Leipzig, 42,558 capacity) and the Allianz Arena (FC Bayern Munich, 75,000 capacity), which finished second and third respectively in the rankings.

VfB Stuttgart (promoted to the Bundesliga for 2020-21) also won the 2019-20 Pitch of the Year for the German second division (2.Bundesliga).
