Sevilla FC: creation of a university chair at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide

Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) and the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO) have signed a collaboration agreement that provides for the creation of a university chair - named "Sevilla FC Chair: University, Business and Sport" - within the public university located in Seville (Andalusia, ESP), on 03/07/2020.

"In the field of training, the aim is to promote the creation of joint degrees, to help contextualize the current needs of Sevilla FC in degrees already taught at the UPO, as well as to propose topics to be addressed by students in their work to complete their degrees," said Sevilla FC.

"Emphasis will be placed on the detection of talent, as well as providing students with direct experience with the club, contributing to its sustainable growth. CSR and the commitment to entrepreneurship through startups and innovation are other pillars of this agreement not to mention internationalization, as specific actions will be carried out to increase the presence of Sevilla FC in other collaborating universities," explained the club.
