Genoa CFC: shirts worn by the players available to purchase via reservation on WhatsApp

Genoa Cricket and Football Club (Serie A TIM) launched a new initiative for the sale of shirts worn by players, where fans could reserve them via a message on the WhatsApp instant messaging service after having paid in advance, on the occasion of the club's match versus Udinese Calcio (2-2, Matchday 30 of the Italian championship, on 05/07/2020) on 02/07/2020.

Each shirt (belonging to a starter or a substitute) was marketed at a price of €65. 15% of the proceeds will be donated to the Gianina Gaslini Institute, a paediatric hospital in Genoa (Liguria, ITA) supported by Genoa.

All the shirts were sold before the beginning of the match versus Udinese and Genoa CFC repeated the operation for their match versus SSC Napoli (1-2, Matchday 31 on 08/07/2020), with the same success. The initiative will last until the end of the 2019-20 season.
