"You have to have a vision for the values of tomorrow" (J-M. Aulas, Olympique Lyonnais)

"When you are an investor, you have to have a vision for the investment but also a vision for the values of tomorrow. In football there is economic value but also sporting, educational and integration values which are relevant in our approach," stated Jean-Michel Aulas, president of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), on the occasion of the official launch of "Time for the Planet", an initiative to combat global warming, at the Groupama Stadium on 08/07/2020.

Initiated by several Lyon-based entrepreneurs in December 2019, Time for the Planet offers "a concrete and rapid action solution, on a global scale, to help fight climate change while there is still time". Its objective is to raise €1bn to create 100 companies to combat global warming.

"As investors (via the Holnest family holding company, OL Groupe's majority shareholder), we are looking for performance in terms of profitability but also in a certain number of values. We have made a 2.0 stadium, totally digitalized, and are building a terminal in the United States with the same objective in mind," added Jean-Michel Aulas…
