France Télévisions: eight presidential candidates, results expected no later than 24/07/2020

8 of the 12 candidatures for the presidency of the French public audiovisual group France Télévisions have been declared eligible by the Conseil Supérieur de l'Audiovisuel (CSA), announced the French Media Regulatory Authority on 15/07/2020.

The eight candidates below, including the current president Delphine Ernotte Cunci, will be interviewed by the members of the collège du CSA between Monday 20 and Tuesday 21/07/2020 and the result will be communicated by 24/07/2020 at the latest. The term of office is five years. The list of candidates in order of interview:

• Ms Sandrine Roustan, international director of TV & OTT development at Shanghai Media Group and former director of programmes at France 4 (from 2012 to 2014) (interview on 20/07/2020 at 09:00 CET);

• Mr Michel Goldstein, columnist and commentator at the sports department of France Télévisions (20/07/2020 at 11:15);

• Mr Serge Schick, director of audience strategy and brand development at Radio France (20/07/2020 at 14:30);

• Mr Jean-Paul Philippot, general administrator for the Belgian public audiovisual group RTBF…
