esports: Getty Images becomes Riot Games' official photo image and distribution partner until 2024

Getty Images, an American photo agency and image bank belonging to the Carlyle Group, has become the "official photo image and distribution partner" of the League of Legends Global Esports events organised by Riot Games until "at least 2024," announced the American video game publisher on 13/07/2020.

The LoL competitions covered by the agreement are the World Championship (Worlds), the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI, mid-season international tournament) and the All-Star Event (international tournament where the public votes for its favourite professional players). "The partnership will begin at the 2020 World Championship in China this fall."
