Liverpool FC: global partnership with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority for 2020-2023

The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority has become a global partner of Liverpool FC (Premier League) for three seasons (2020-2023), announced the English club on 20/07/2020. The body thus becomes the "official tourism and economic development partner" of the club.

"The three-year partnership will see Mauritius benefit from a range of LFC digital, social media and marketing assets. The island has been an established centre for international banking and finance for at least 20 years and plans to grow this reputation for business around the world," said the 2019-20 champions of England. In this business sector, the Barbados Tourism Authority was previously a partner of Liverpool FC from 2014 to 2016.

Other tourism boards have already entered into partnerships with Premier League clubs:
• The Rwanda Development Board, the Rwandan agency for international investments, has been a partner of Arsenal FC since 2018-19 (and of Paris Saint-Germain, in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, since 2019-20).
• Visit Malta, the tourist agency of the Maltese government, has been a partner of Manchester United…
