FC Barcelona: Rakuten offers fans the chance to appear on a mosaic at the Camp Nou

Rakuten, a Japanese group specialised in internet services, has activated its partnership with FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) through the "Be Part of the Big Picture" operation, which offers the Spanish club's fans the chance to appear on a giant mosaic that will be installed on the façade of the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity) during the 2020-21 season, announced Barça on 20/07/2020.

"Fans will be able to send pictures of themselves supporting the team to a special website that's being launched on Tuesday 21/07/2020. A total of 46,000 photos will be shaped into a mosaic with images of the first team players - an impressive way to greet spectators as they arrive on the Camp Nou," explained FC Barcelona.

Each fan participating in the operation will be able to find his or her photo in the mosaic when they go to Camp Nou thanks to an augmented reality system. All of the photos will also be available in digital format for fans unable to visit Barcelona's stadium.
