Ligue 1 Uber Eats: adidas succeeds Puma as equipment supplier of Girondins de Bordeaux (2020-2025)

adidas has become the official equipment supplier of FC Girondins de Bordeaux (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), announced the club on the occasion of the presentation of the shirts for the 2020-21 season on 22/07/2020. The agreement will run for five seasons (2020-2025) and is worth €1m annually.

The German brand will succeed Puma, the club's equipment supplier for the last 16 seasons (2004-2020). Puma and Girondins also thanked each other in a video posted on their respective social networks on 30/06/2020.

adidas was previously a partner of FC Girondins de Bordeaux for the 1999-2003 cycle before joining Puma. The German group was also the club's equipment supplier from 1979-1987, a period in which the club won three French Championship titles (1984, 1985 and 1987).

adidas is therefore strengthening its presence in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, with four clubs under contract (Olympique Lyonnais, RC Strasbourg Alsace), including Stade Brestois 29, which formalised its agreement with the brand on 26/06/2020.
