Sky Bet Championship: adidas succeeds Kappa as equipment supplier of Leeds United FC for 2020-2025

adidas is to become the official equipment supplier of Leeds United FC (Sky Bet Championship) for five seasons (2020-2025), announced the club promoted to the Premier League at the end of 2019-20 on 21/07/2020.

The German brand will benefit from the status of major partner, the first level in the English club's sponsorship hierarchy. adidas succeeds Kappa, Leeds United's equipment supplier for the 2015-2020 cycle. The club paid tribute to the five-year partnership with Kappa via its communications media on 20/07/2020: "Kappa began manufacturing kits for the Whites in 2015, with sales growing year on year, culminating in a new record, during this, our centenary year, with in excess of 145,000 replica shirts sold." Kappa had previously taken over from Macron, equipment supplier of the club over the 2008-2015 period.
