Olympique Lyonnais: a three-year partnership with Portuguese club SC Farense (Liga NOS)

"Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and Sporting Clube de Farense (promoted to Liga NOS) formalize a 3-season partnership agreement and reunite 25 years after facing each other in the UEFA Cup (former Europa League)," announced the French club on 21/07/2020.

"Recently promoted to Liga NOS for the 2020-21 season, SC Farense is a historic institution that shares with OL, beyond the logo (a lion), their common values and visions. This cooperative endeavor will make it possible to develop a special link between the two clubs, the rewards of which will bear fruit in synergy as regards training, professional football and non-sporting fields," added Olympique Lyonnais.

"After Lebanon, Vietnam, Senegal, China, Morocco, Brazil and the United States, Portugal is now becomes the eighth international territory in which Olympique Lyonnais is developing its program of elite technical cooperation with a major local club (see below)," explained OL.
